Troubles w/ CatchAllAgent + Exchange 2010

Hi Folks -

Trying to get CatchAllAgent to work with Exchange 2010 and quite simply, it's not working right.

I installed this on my test Hub transport server, set the config file (just using a single domain), set the priority (no Recipient Filter Agent was listed, though) as 1, enabled the agent, and restarted the service.

No dice -- I just get bounce messages when I send to non-existent mailboxes in the domain.

Some info:
  • I have the mail domain defined as authoritative. It's just an internal domain, but mail can successfully be delivered to the box I'm trying to deliver all mail to.
  • The HUB server also has the CAS role.
  • It's running Exchange 2010 w/ SP3.
Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks a ton in advance!

Are you sending the message into the server over SMTP?

CatchAll triggers in the SMTP path, and not StoreDriver submission.

Yep, that was it. I was testing with another mailbox, so it wasn't coming over SMTP. Once I tested w/ SMTP, it worked.

THANKS A TON! If you are ever in SE Michigan, beers are on me!
